Balance? Is there a such thing?

Many of you know that I’ve been doing makeup for quite some time now. Over the years, one of my top asked questions has been how do I balance it all.

To be honest, after so many years of trying to do it all, I stopped. I stopped trying to be everything in my business and started delegating tasks that brought me the most frustration. Letting go was one of the toughest things I had ever done, but I knew it was time and quite frankly, I was willing to try anything.

Delegating tasks allowed me the opportunity to start doing things that I loved to do. I started biking, working out consistently, and doing things that made me physically feel good. Physically loving on myself had a domino affect because I also started to feel good mentally. I had enough time to come up with new fresh ideas for my business and I didn’t find myself so tired all the time.

3 Things That Helped Me

  1. Only doing work during my business hours. I know I probably passed a lot of money, but it didn’t matter to me. Time with myself was more important than money.

  2. Hired help. This was HUGE! I did it scared it and it changed my life.

  3. Dedicated time for my health. When you feel like you look good, you’re more confident.

All in all, I share these things in hopes that it’ll help you too.

What worked for me may not work for you, but I encourage you to at least try.
